What is the difference between a trial license (also referred to as a POC) and a standard license?

A trial license is limited to 10 IPs and a duration of two weeks. While it does not grant access to all solution features, it is sufficient to get started with the tool and evaluate its effectiveness. Full details are provided in the administration guide that will be supplied to you.

Is it normal for the IKARE server to have internet access?

Communication with the ITrust licensing server occurs over the Internet, enabling software updates, the latest detection plugin updates, and license validation. Naturally, this communication can be routed through an HTTP proxy. For "Defense" environments, an on-premises, internal solution is available to prevent any external communication.
