Following its participation in the second cohort of the InterCERT incubator in 2024, the ITrust CERT has officially joined InterCERT France, the premier French community of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs). This milestone marks a key step in expanding our incident response operations and strengthening our commitment to the French cybersecurity ecosystem.
InterCERT France: Fostering Cooperation Among Incident Response Teams
Established in 2021, the InterCERT France association unites cybersecurity incident detection and response teams (CERTs/CSIRTs) from both public and private sector organizations. Its mission is to drive operational cooperation, technical threat intelligence sharing, and the exchange of best practices among members to strengthen detection and response capabilities against cyberattacks. This collaborative framework relies notably on dedicated working groups covering threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response, as well as shared intelligence platforms, including a MISP instance and the MeMic communication platform.
A Journey Initiated Within the InterCERT Incubator
In 2024, the ITrust CERT joined the second cohort of the "Cédric Blancher" InterCERT incubator, an initiative tailored to foster the development and operational maturity of incident response teams. This immersion enabled ITrust engineers to benchmark methodologies against peer CERTs, benefit from shared operational feedback, and deepen their incident handling practices.
Since completing the program, the ITrust CERT has maintained active collaboration with peer teams, contributing to the continuous enhancement of its incident response capabilities.
A New Milestone for the ITrust CERT
Leveraging these insights and extensive field experience across dozens of incident response engagements, the ITrust CERT now officially joins InterCERT France, reaffirming its dedication to operational collaboration. This membership enables ITrust teams to actively contribute operational feedback, benchmark practices, and take part in initiatives led by a community committed to collectively advancing cyber incident response capabilities.
