In late 2019, ITrust launched a project to produce a video campaign titled #BalanceTaCyber. This campaign consists of a series of 10 videos released since early January 2020. Through these short videos—each under 2 minutes long—ITrust sought to poke fun at all the situations one might encounter in the field of cybersecurity. It’s sometimes zany, often funny, occasionally a little awkward—but the truth is never far off! Here, we cover the basics of cybersecurity: the vulnerability scanner, or vulnerability management tool.
Episode 7: “We’ve (Re-Re-Re)Found the 7th Company”
The Findings
This is one of the first tools a company should implement as part of an effort to improve its information system (IS). Indeed, these tools enable constant, automated monitoring of the information system.
When security vulnerabilities are discovered, recommendations and solutions are provided, allowing for prompt corrective action (at least, that’s what the ITrust solution does: IKare).
Finally, and this is an important point: the smaller the organization, the lower the prices. The size of your company should no longer matter—just like larger companies, you can benefit from security that’s just as effective!
